Azu po tatarsku

Roasted beef stewed with ketchup and other ingredients.
Ingredients:
Procedure:
1. Place the sliced onion in a hot pan and let it fry
2. Fry the meat pieces cut into long fries and simmer the meat in its own juices on low heat under a lid
3. Once the meat has released its juices, dust it lightly with flour
4. Add 0.3 litres of water, beef broth, peppercorns, vegeta, bay leaf and a little gourmet spice (red pepper mixture)
5. Simmer until the meat is tender, then add ketchup and corn
6. Thicken the azu with salami if desired and serve with rice or pasta, for example.
Recommendation:
The thickening can be done by stirring 3-4 tablespoons of plain flour into 0.2 litres of cold water and then pouring the entire contents into the hot sauce. Stir well and simmer for about 10 minutes!
Note:
This recipe can basically be used with pork meat (pork shoulder) or with pieces of boneless chicken legs. The taste is different, but it’s also not wrong and you still save on ingredients. Also, you can replace the corn with cubes of sterilized cucumber.
