Gratinated pancakes with cheese and ham

Pancakes filled with a slice of ham, sprinkled with cheese, twisted and stacked in a baking dish, then again sprinkled with cheese and baked in the oven.

Procedure:
1. Prepare pancake batter using flour, milk, eggs and a pinch of salt and fry pancakes in oil
2. Place a slice of ham on each pancake, sprinkle thickly with cheese (save half of the cheese for baking), roll up and place in a baking dish
3. Then sprinkle the pancakes with grated cheese, place in a preheated oven at 220 °C under the grill and bake until the cheese melts
4. Serve 2 pancakes per portion, garnished with tomatoes cut into marigolds.
