Minisekaná in puff pastry

Squares of puff pastry filled with seasoned meatloaf and caramelized onions, sprinkled with sesame seeds, baked until golden brown.

Procedure:
1. First, make the caramelized onions: Heat olive oil in a large pan, add the peeled onions, sliced thinly, and sauté over medium heat for 10 minutes, then add the cane sugar, pour in the sherry vinegar, cook for another 15 minutes to soften and set aside
2. Put the ground beef in a bowl, add the peeled, finely chopped onion, peeled, minced garlic cloves, salt, ground pepper, finely chopped thyme and mix everything well
3. On a floured work surface, roll out the dough and cut into 16 equal squares
4. Divide the minced meat in the middle of half of nothing, top with caramelized onions, cover with the remaining squares, press the ends together, brush with beaten egg and sprinkle with sesame seeds
5. Place on a baking tray lined with baking paper and bake in a preheated oven at 180 °C until golden brown (about 20 minutes).
