Marinated Leeks

Pre-cooked leeks marinated, served garnished with hard-boiled and diced eggs, chopped chervil leaves.

Procedure:
1. Clean the leeks, cut off the deep green parts, then cut them lengthwise and wash thoroughly under a stream of lukewarm water, cut the drained leeks into diagonal pieces about 8 cm long
2. In a little salted water, boil the leeks for 6-8 minutes, drain them
3. From the water in which the leeks were boiled, remove 3-4 tablespoons of the liquid for the marinade, put the vinegar, honey and the removed and removed broth from the leeks in a small pot, heat on a small heat source until the honey dissolves
4. Remove from the heat source, add the oil, pepper, salt and crushed garlic, mix well and pour the mixture over the drained leeks and leave them in the marinade for 2-3 hours, or overnight
5. Boil hard-boiled eggs, rinse them with cold water, peel them and cut them into cubes after they have cooled down
6. Decorate individual portions of marinated leeks with the egg cubes and chopped shrub and serve as a cold appetizer.
Note:
Kerb – This aromatic herb resembles parsley in appearance, but its leaves are finer and more petite. Its taste is somewhat reminiscent of anise.
