300 g rice a little salt 3 litres water

1. Put the rinsed rice into boiling salted water, reduce the heat and cook covered for about 15 min until the rice is soft. 2. Drain the rice, rinse with cold water and drain. If serving only as a side dish, reheat the rice in a little butter. 3. To improve the taste, add peeled onion to the water with a few cloves.
