Crispy apple pie

500 g plain flour 250 g butter 2 pk eggs 100 g powdered sugar 1/2 packet baking powder 800 g apples 150 g powdered sugar 1 tsp ground cinnamon

Traditional shortcrust cake with apple and cinnamon filling.

Work the flour with baking powder, butter, eggs and icing sugar on a board into a dough, divide it into two parts and roll it out.

Place one part on a lightly greased baking sheet, sprinkle with grated apples mixed with cinnamon and powdered sugar (if the apples are very juicy, squeeze a little juice from them), cover with the second part, prick the top of the cake with a fork.
3.
Bake the cake at 180°C for 30-40 minutes.
4.
Cut the baked and cooled cake and sprinkle with icing sugar.
