What would Christmas be without gingerbread cookies?
1.
Process all ingredients until a smooth and sticky mass is formed

Let the dough rest for a day.

Roll out the dough to a thickness of 4 mm and cut out any shapes.

Bake on a baking tray lined with baking paper in a preheated oven at 200°C for about 6-7 minutes.
5.
After removing from the oven, brush the still hot gingerbread cookies with beaten egg.
