2 pcs herring 2 dl water 3 tbsp vinegar 3 tbsp oil 1 pcs onion 1 pcs bay leaf 2 pcs allspice 1 tbsp worcestershire sauce to taste whole black pepper, thyme, salt,onion
procedure
1. Boil water with vinegar, oil and chopped onion, add salt, whole black and allspice, bay leaf, thyme and worcestershire sauce. 2. Pour the hot decoction over the herrings and simmer for a few minutes and leave to rest for a day. The next day, arrange on a platter, garnish with onions.
