Braised red cabbage with apple

1 kg red cabbage 2 tbsp oil 150 g onion 3 tbsp vinegar 500 g apple 2 tbsp granulated sugar 1 pk bay leaf 350 ml red wine 150 g currant jam to taste salt, ground black pepper
step
1. Wash the cabbage, dry and cut into thin slices. Fry the finely chopped onion in hot oil in a saucepan. Add the cabbage, cover the pot and simmer. 2. After 15 minutes, add the vinegar, diced apples, salt, pepper, sugar, bay leaf and wine. Everything simmers until soft. 3. Finally, add the currant jam, stir the cabbage and set aside.
