500 g currants 500 g semi-coarse flour 250 g butter 200 g icing sugar 5 eggs 125 ml whipping cream 1 packet of baking powder 1 pinch of salt

The recipe is suitable for an afternoon with coffee or tea. It is from a magazine and is very tasty.
1.
Preheat the oven to 180 degrees.

Mix the fruit with 1 tablespoon of flour.

In a bowl, beat butter, icing sugar, pinch of salt. Progressively beat in alternately 4 eggs and 4 tablespoons flour, mixing each time. Add the whipping cream and the remaining flour in which you have mixed the baking powder.

Finally, add the fruit to the batter.

Grease the tin and fill with the batter. Place in a preheated oven and bake for about 1 1/2 hours.
6.
Finally sprinkle with icing sugar.
