I usually make this cake on Easter, but it is also suitable for the weekend with coffee or for breakfast. The whole family will love this cake.
1.
Knead the dough and place in a bowl greased with oil, cover with a tea towel and let rise for 1 hour.
2.
For the filling, melt the chocolate and butter, add the icing sugar and cocoa.
3.
Roll out the risen dough on a floured board into a thin sheet and spread with the chocolate filling. Leave the edges unfilled to make the dough easier to roll. Roll up the dough and cut the roll lengthwise. Bring the ends together on one side and twist like a string by cutting on top. Place in a buttered or parchment paper-lined loaf pan and let rise for about 20 minutes more.
4.
Bake in a preheated oven at 180 °C for about 35 minutes.
5.
Brush the hot cake with milk.
