I decided to try this modern cake for the first time 3 years ago at Christmas. We’ve been making it every year since and always tweaking it. We have 2 pastry chefs in the family who are always happy to put my ideas to good use and occasionally something this unusual, incredibly tasty and simple comes out! Have a good taste!
1.
Cook the pre-soaked beans until soft and mash the cooled beans.Beat the egg yolks with sugar until foamy, progressively add the bean mixture, ground nuts, breadcrumbs with baking powder, baking powder, rum. Carefully stir the stiff snow, which you have beaten from the egg whites, into the formed dough. (You know the correctness test, don’t let it fall on our heads! :P) Spread the batter on a greased and floured baking sheet and bake for about 35 minutes in a preheated oven at 175°:)
2.
The baked cooled (!!!) dough can be cut in half, spread with a thicker layer of cream (recipe below)and then cover with the remaining half of the dough. Tip: help yourself with baking paper, the dough is fragile. 🙂 Spread the rest of the cream on the top and sides of the cake, sprinkle with finely chopped nuts 🙂 If you don’t want to cut the dough unnecessarily, no need. Believe me, it tastes just as good and you have it once or twice!
3.
Cream: Make a thick porridge with milk and flour. Beat the butter with sugar and a little rum until foamy and finally combine with the EXCITED porridge 🙂

A modern holiday cookie full of flavor, mystery and love is in the world! Just enjoy it with your loved ones 🙂
