400 g plums 400 g potatoes cooked in the skin 300 g semi-coarse flour 2 pcs egg 1 pinch salt a little melted butter to taste cocoa, poppy seeds, ground nuts a little whipped cream

1. Leave the potatoes in their skins to cool and then grate them on a fine grater. Already have water boiling in a large saucepan. 2. Add the flour, eggs, a pinch of salt to the potatoes and use your hands to make a potato dough. Progressively tear off pieces from the dough, wrap the plums in them, drop them into the water and boil. The balls are cooked if they float on the surface. 3. Serve them with melted butter, cocoa, nuts or poppy seeds with whipped cream.
