Since we weren’t impressed with the Gyros salad I made a salad with a different flavor and the result was surprising.
1. Cut one pair of chicken breasts ( 2pcs ) into small cubes. Pour a little oil in the pan (I use coconut oil but you can also use plain oil). Sear the chicken on each side. Do not baste! Always stir. When the meat is browned sprinkle with china pepper and sear for 8minutes. 2. Remove, salt and put it in a strainer to let the rest of the oil run off and the meat cool down. 3. Meanwhile, as it cools, mix the dressing. Divide the sour cream (large) into two bowls so that there is more in one and less in one. To the one with less (for me it is on the right) add 5 slices of mayonnaise. Stir with a fork and sprinkle with curry (do not overdo it) spices, add salt, pepper and a sprinkle of lemon. 4. To the second cream add a spoonful of halmans tartar sauce, press the garlic and add the chives. Put both dressings in the refrigerator. 5. Tear the cabbage into small pieces. Cut the cherry tomatoes into 4 pieces and the peppers into cubes. Cut the spring onions into rings. 6. Layer: * chinese cabbage * tomatoes * garlic dressing * chicken * onion * peppers * curry dressing * corn * cabbage To garnish a few pieces of meat, spring onion, cherry tomato and a few drops of garlic dressing (I just scraped the bowl) 7. It is not necessary to put the salad in the fridge, it can be eaten immediately. 8. The ratio of ingredients is for one large glass jar or 4 small ones like mine. Cherry tomatoes are placed only against the wall of the container (glass) in the middle I put a few pieces of cabbage. The same when I put onions and peppers. I put cabbage in the middle. Do not add more onions, tomatoes or peppers. Place only around. When adding the dressing, play around a little with a small spoon to get the dressing evenly everywhere.
