Plum dumplings with poppy seeds

100 g butter 500 ml milk 1 pinch salt 300 g coarse flour 3 pcs egg a little plum

1. Put the butter in a saucepan with the butter and milk. Bring the mixture to the boil, add the flour and stir until a dough forms. It should leave a continuous coating on the bottom of the pot, then set the pot with the dough aside and leave to cool. 2. Meanwhile, wash and stone the plums. Stir the eggs into the cooled dough one at a time. Form a dough on a kitchen board and cut off pieces. Make a pancake in the palm of your hand, place a plum in it and wrap it with the dough. 3. Cook the finished balls in boiling water for about 8 minutes, or until they float to the surface. Sprinkle the poppy seeds and icing sugar on plates and pour the hot butter over them.
