500 g plain flour 250 ml milk 1 pk egg 3 pk egg yolk 4 tbsp sugar 1 pk yeast 42g 4 tbsp oil grated lemon peel, powdered sugar sprinkling salt oil for frying 1 pk vanilla sugar 2 tbsp rum

I made the doughnuts, they are good, fluffy.

Into 1 dl lukewarm milk incorporate the crumbled yeast, a spoonful of sugar and a little flour. Stir and let stand until the leaven rises.

Add the rest of the milk, egg, egg yolks, remaining sugar to a larger bowl. Stir. Add the oil and rum. Progressively add the lemon zest and a pinch of salt to the batter. Make a smooth dough and let it rise in a warm place, covered with a tea towel.

Then roll out the dough and cut out doughnuts. Using a smaller glass, make a hole in the centre. Leave to rise for a while. Then fry the doughnuts in hot oil on both sides.After frying, sprinkle them with sugar. Enjoy.
