Submerge the tomatoes in boiling water for about 1 minute. Then remove them and immediately wash them in cold water. Then remove the skin from the tomatoes easily.

Cut the clean garlic finely and sauté briefly in the heated olive oil in a frying pan.

Cut the cleaned tomatoes into cubes and add to the garlic. When they are almost soft, add half of the chopped basil, salt, ground black pepper and dried oregano. Remove the finished mixture from the stove.

In the meantime, grill the two sausages on the grill, grill pan or toaster. Grill the tofu sausages for about 10 minutes, until lightly browned.

Peel and chop the mushrooms and lightly sauté them in a pan with a drizzle of olive oil until softened.

Cut the bread on one side, place the tomato mixture, the grilled tofu sausage, the mushrooms and the rest of the finely chopped basil.

Finally, we can lightly toast the sunflower seeds in a dry pan and sprinkle them over the hot dogs.
