A popular Christmas liqueur with vanilla pod.

Beat the egg yolks with the icing sugar until smooth.

Mix the cream with the milk, cane sugar and vanilla pod pulp. Slowly heat to below boiling point, stirring constantly over a low heat, and set aside to cool.
3.
Transfer the egg yolk cream to a saucepan, add the vanilla cream gradually, stirring constantly, and simmer briefly over a low heat until thickened.
4.
Finally, add the rum and stir well. Pour the liqueur into the bottle.
