Lentil stew with fricassee

200 g dry lentils 250 ml cooking cream or whipping cream 2 tbsp plain flour (type 00), gustin to thicken to taste bay leaf, black whole peppercorns, salt to taste to taste lime juice or vinegar to season

300 g minced mixed pork and beef 100 g grated cheese (eidam, gouda, emmental, …) 2 pcs home-made hard-boiled eggs to taste salt, ground pepper for seasoning breadcrumbs for coating oil for frying

A great lunch or dinner, easy to prepare.

Rinse the lentils several times to let them swell a little. Put in a bowl add, salt, bay leaf cook until soft.

In the cream, stir the gustin or flour to thicken the sauce, which season with black pepper, salt and a little lime juice or vinegar.

Place the minced meat in a bowl add, salt, black pepper, eggs, grated cheese mix. Shape into patties and coat in breadcrumbs.

Fry the fritters on both sides in hot oil until golden brown. Serve with a side of bread.
