Beef with Vegetable Recipes roasted in the oven

800 g beef shoulder 1 pk onion 3 pk carrots 200 g frozen peas 1 pk red peppers 1 dl red wine oil salt, ground black pepper

A tasty lunch for the whole family. And as a side dish, of course, tarhona.

Wash, dry and cut the meat into larger cubes. Add oil to the pot and fry the pieces progressively to coat. Remove the roast to a plate.

Cut the onion finely and add to the meat stock. Roast until golden.

Next, add the chopped carrots and bell pepper. Roast. Then return the meat to the pot, add salt, ground black pepper and pour in the red wine. Let simmer for a minute, cover with water (or beef stock), stir, cover and place in the oven. If you only have a tall pot, transfer the meat to a roasting tin. Place in the oven at 150 degrees.

After about an hour, baste again with water (or stock). After an hour and a half of baking, add the peas, water if necessary, stir and leave uncovered to bake. Serve with tarhona or rice.
