Turmeric chicken breast with vegetable bulgur (not only) for Sunday

2 pcs chicken breasts (without skin) 2 tbsp olive oil 1 tsp turmeric 2 tbsp lemon juice salt, ground pepper fresh ginger (grated)

1.5 cup bulgur baby spinach (fresh leaves) 1 pk onion (thinly sliced) 2 tbsp olive oej 3/4 cup baby carrots 3 cups broth (bouillon) salt

If you too are tired of roast chicken and rice or other typical Sunday recipes, try this juicy yellow meat with a healthy side dish. Turmeric with ginger and lemon on chicken breast is a delicious combination

Prepare all the necessary ingredients so you have them on hand

Cut the chicken breast slices into noodles or smaller cubes.

Add grated ginger and garlic, oil, salt, turmeric, lemon juice and mix everything well. Refrigerate the prepared flour covered for 1-2 hours.

Meanwhile, prepare bulgur with Vegetable Recipes. It is a wonderful combination, glowing with colour just by looking at it.

Fry the onions in oil until golden.

Add baby carrots and fresh spinach leaves. Boil briefly to wilt.

Add the bulgur and stir everything together well for a minute or two.

Pour in the stock and cook for about 20 minutes, then leave covered to “finish”.

Remove the marinated chicken pieces from the fridge, heat the oil in a frying pan and sear the meat on each side, turning fairly frequently. This takes about 8 to 10 minutes.

Serve with any salad you like, we made a cucumber salad today. If you are in a “hotter mood” add more cayenne pepper to the meat seasoning. Enjoy!
