Beef on the juice

600 g beef 1 pk onion 2 tbsp oil 1 tbsp plain flour 1 handful frozen peas 1 handful fresh (or dried/frozen mushrooms) 1 pk red pepper to taste ground black pepper, salt

Our favorite combination. Chunks of beef on the juice, of course served with tarhona.

Wash the beef, dry it a bit and cut it into slices. Dredge each side and dust with flour.

Heat the oil and fry each piece until golden on each side. Remove the meat.

Cut the onion into small pieces and fry in the fat. After a while, add the meat, season with black pepper. Cover with water and simmer. Stir occasionally.

After about an hour of simmering, add the mushrooms and simmer again. Add water as needed. About 30 minutes before finishing, add the chopped red pepper and season with salt.

Finally, add the frozen peas and boil briefly. Serve the juicy meat with a side dish of your choice. It goes with everything. Enjoy!
