Pasta with tuna is a classic of the student diet, but that should not make it be considered a second-rate dish, on the contrary, it is a recipe that should never be missing in the daily recipe book, because it is easy, fast, cheap and can also be made in a healthy version if we use whole wheat pasta and natural tomatoes.
Ingredients
Whole wheat short pasta (spirals, macaroni, shark), 80 g Cherry tomatoes, 100 g Black olives, 5 or 6 Tuna, 1 can Extra virgin olive oil, 1 tablespoon Salt and pepper Fresh basil, 5 or 6 leaves
Step 1
Bring plenty of salted water to a boil and cook the pasta according to package directions.
Step 2
While the pasta is cooking, heat the oil in a frying pan and sauté the tomatoes cut in halves and the black olives cut in slices.
Step 3
When the pasta is ready, drain it and add it to the pan. Add the drained and crumbled tuna and mix everything well. Add salt and pepper to taste.
Step 4
Plate, decorate with some fresh basil leaves and serve immediately.
Notes
If you want the recipe to be even lighter, you can replace part of the whole wheat pasta with a vegetable, such as zucchini cut into thin strips similar in size to the pasta that we will sauté with the tomato.
