This Pioneer Women chicken breast crock pot recipe is the perfect way to make a delicious pulled chicken sandwich. Made with brown sugar and a variety of spices, this chicken is sure to be a hit.!
To make this recipe, you will need:
4 chicken breasts
1/2 cup brown sugar
1 teaspoon paprika
1 teaspoon garlic powder
1 teaspoon onion powder
1/2 teaspoon chili powder
1/2 teaspoon salt
1/4 teaspoon black pepper
1/2 cup BBQ sauce
4 hamburger buns
Instructions:
In a small bowl, whisk together the brown sugar, paprika, garlic powder, onion powder, chili powder, salt and black pepper. Rub the mixture all over the chicken breasts.
Place the chicken in the slow cooker. Cover and cook on low for 6-8 hours, or until the chicken is cooked through.
Remove the chicken from the slow cooker and shred with a fork or chop into bite-sized pieces.
Stir in the BBQ sauce and mix well.
